Freestyle Dance
I love to dance!
But for many years, I didn’t do it.
I was afraid of looking silly. Afraid of what other people would think. Afraid of freezing up because I didn’t know what to do. I tried taking classes, but to no avail. It’s hard to stick to the beat and remember the steps. Besides, thinking too much seems to defeat the purpose. I don’t want to THINK when I dance. I want to DO.
These days, I dance however I please. It’s a 100% made-up, creative process that’s sometimes quite graceful and sometime quite NOT. No matter. It’s all about the fun! Dance is healthy for mind, body, and spirit, and there need be no prerequisites to getting started. Below, you’ll find my current, hand-selected playlists.
